CNAF Investment Financing Receivables Grew 53% in June 2026

KONTAN.CO.ID - JAKARTA. PT CIMB Niaga Auto Finance (CNAF) recorded positive performance in its investment financing segment through the first half of 2026.

"CNAF's investment financing receivables performance through June 2026 shows a positive trend," CNAF President Director Ristiawan Suherman told Kontan on Monday (August 31, 2026).

During this period, CNAF's investment financing receivables grew by 53% year-on-year, rising from IDR 783 billion in June 2025 to IDR 1.19 trillion in June 2026.

According to him, the results achieved by CNAF in this segment demonstrate that there are still market opportunities to be optimized, even as the investment financing industry faces pressure.

Data from the Financial Services Authority (OJK) for June 2026 shows that investment financing within the multifinance industry stood at IDR 167.89 trillion, representing a year-on-year (YoY) contraction of 5.33%.

This industry-wide contraction in investment financing is attributed to business players tending to remain cautious regarding expansion and the realization of investments amidst current economic dynamics.

Nevertheless, he projects room for continued growth in investment financing through the end of the year, particularly given a financing strategy that targets business sectors and carefully assesses customer characteristics.

To that end, CNAF plans to undertake several initiatives to optimize this financing segment. These include developing products relevant to business needs, expanding financing access through digital channels, and enhancing acquisition and service processes.

Additionally, the company is strengthening risk management and regularly monitoring portfolio health.

Meanwhile, Ristiawan emphasized that the company would continue to closely monitor market developments and apply prudential principles in disbursing financing to ensure the business maintains healthy and sustainable growth.
