Bisnis.com, JAKARTA — PT BRI Multifinance Indonesia (BRI Finance or BRIF) is strengthening financing synergies in the commercial segment through a joint financing partnership with PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. (BBRI).

BRI Finance Operations Director Wahyudi Darmawan stated that the collaboration is being executed via a Customer Asset Purchase (CAP) scheme, covering heavy equipment and motor vehicle financing for corporate clients.

"This partnership is part of our effort to strengthen BRI Group synergies by developing financing schemes that deliver added value for all parties. Through joint financing, we can expand access to low-cost funding from the bank, thereby reducing interest expenses," he said in a written statement cited on Monday (August 31, 2026).

Wahyudi noted that this scheme enhances access to more competitive funding costs while opening up financing opportunities for BRI and BRIF's captive customers. He added that this expanded access is expected to boost the potential for heavy equipment and motor vehicle financing disbursements to clients and support BRIF's business growth.

He further added that, looking ahead, the synergy between BRI and BRIF through the development of joint financing schemes is expected not only to strengthen financing capacity but also to unlock broader business opportunities within the BRI Group ecosystem.

"This move reaffirms both companies' commitment to providing competitive financing solutions and driving the growth of the Commercial Business segment as a new growth engine for sustainable, high-quality growth," he stated.

Meanwhile, BRI Commercial Business Group Head Gunadi Wono explained that the collaboration via the joint financing scheme aligns with BRI Group's strategy to develop its Commercial Business as a new source of high-quality, sustainable growth.
