Astra Credit Companies (ACC) Uses IDR 1.03 Trillion in Bond Proceeds for Working Capital

KONTAN.CO.ID - JAKARTA. PT Astra Sedaya Finance, also known as Astra Credit Companies (ACC), has issued bonds worth IDR 1.03 trillion due in May 2026. ACC's EVP of Corporate Communication & Strategy, Riadi Prasodjo, stated that the proceeds from the bond issuance will be used for working capital.

"The proceeds from the bond issuance will be used for working capital for the company's business activities," he told Kontan on Wednesday (June 3).

Riadi also revealed that ACC has not ruled out issuing more bonds in the future. However, he stated that ACC considers several factors when issuing bonds, including yield movements and benchmark interest rates.

"This is one of the factors considered in funding management. Therefore, the company continues to monitor market conditions and benchmark interest rate dynamics in its bond issuance plans," he said.

Riadi added that ACC will continue to evaluate various alternative funding sources going forward, taking into account business needs, market conditions, and funding cost efficiency.

Regarding coupon rates, Riadi stated that the company continues to monitor market developments when determining bond coupon rates. He explained that bond coupon movements are generally influenced by various factors, including financial market conditions, interest rates, and the company's risk profile.

For information, the Indonesian Securities Rating Agency (Pefindo) recorded that multifinance debt issuance reached IDR 12.93 trillion as of May 2026. This figure increased 19.3% compared to IDR 10.84 trillion in the same period last year.
