Astra Credit Companies' Non-Performing Loans are Below the Multifinance Industry Average

KONTAN.CO.ID - JAKARTA. PT Astra Sedaya Finance, also known as Astra Credit Companies (ACC), recorded a Non-Performing Financing (NPF) rate below the multifinance industry average.

Previously, the Financial Services Authority (OJK) recorded the financing company's gross NPF at 2.72% as of January 2026.

Riadi Prasodjo, EVP of Corporate Communication & Strategy at ACC, stated that ACC's NPF remained stable and maintained below 1% as of January 2026.

"This is supported by the implementation of risk management and governance practices in accordance with applicable regulations," he told Kontan on Friday (March 6, 2026).

ACC also spoke about financing prospects during Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr. Riadi stated that the Ramadan-Eid al-Fitr period is generally accompanied by increased public demand, potentially driving financing activity.

However, he stated that ACC is still monitoring the impact of this activity on the company's performance, in line with the dynamics of existing market conditions.

This year, Riadi stated that several factors could influence the NPF figure, including the dynamics of economic conditions, developments in public purchasing power, and changes in customer risk profiles.

To maintain a manageable NPF figure, Riadi explained that ACC will undertake several efforts. He stated that the company remains committed to implementing risk management and governance practices in accordance with applicable regulations.

Riadi added that the assessment process for prospective borrowers is also conducted based on the principles of character, capacity, capital, collateral, and condition (5Cs) to ensure the financing process is carried out in a measured manner and maintains healthy financing quality.
