KONTAN.CO.ID - JAKARTA. PT CIMB Niaga Auto Finance (CNAF) has issued bonds/sukuk with a nominal value of IDR 5.1 trillion from 2023 to date. Specifically, CNAF has issued bonds/sukuk with a nominal value of IDR 1.6 trillion as of July 2025.
CNAF President Director Ristiawan Suherman stated that in the third quarter of 2025, CNAF also issued Sustainable Sukuk Wakalah Bi Al Itstitmar I Phase III in 2025 amounting to IDR 1 trillion, with an oversubscription rate of 5.4 times.
"This shows that bonds/sukuk remain attractive investment instruments for investors," he told Kontan on Monday (August 25).
Furthermore, Ristiawan revealed that CNAF plans to issue another Sustainable Sukuk Wakalah Bi Al Itstitmar I Phase IV in 2026 with a nominal value of IDR 900 billion. In issuing these bonds/sukuk, he stated that his company will continue to monitor market conditions to achieve competitive returns.
Meanwhile, Ristiawan stated that the average coupon rate on bonds/sukuk issued by CNAF has decreased, in line with the decline in Bank Indonesia (BI) interest rates. Nevertheless, he said this indicates that the sukuk coupon rate offered by CNAF is good or stable in line with market conditions.
To date, Ristiawan stated that CNAF's funding comes from various sources, including bilateral loans, joint financing with its parent company, Bank CIMB Niaga, and bond/sukuk issuance.
"Of course, CNAF will consistently use various strategies to manage its funding sources to provide competitive interest rates to customers," Ristiawan said.
