BFI Finance Records NPF Level of 0.29% in June 2024

KONTAN.CO.ID - JAKARTA. PT BFI Finance Indonesia Tbk (BFIN) was able to maintain Non Performing Financing (NPF) as of June 2024 at a gross level of 1.47% and a net NPF of 0.29%.

BFI Finance's finance director, Sudjono, said that BFI Finance's risk profile remains under control, the NPF figure decreased by 50 basis points (bps) compared to June 2023.

"Meanwhile, the provision coverage was recorded at 2.6 times the Company's gross NPF and the net gearing ratio still shows a positive trend, which is 1.2 times or far below the maximum limit of 10 times," said Sudjono in his official statement, Friday (26/7).

In addition, in the first semester of 2024, the company's new financing or new booking was recorded at IDR 9 trillion. The largest contribution was the four-wheeled financing segment, which was worth IDR 6.1 trillion.

As of June 2024, managed receivables were recorded at IDR 22.4 trillion. The portion of receivables was dominated by productive working capital purposes, which was 57.5%.

In detail, the portion of motor vehicle financing for financing two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles dominated in the range of 76.3%, followed by heavy equipment and machinery financing taking a portion of 14.9%, financing secured by property certificates 4.4%, and other financing 4.3% including sharia financing which recorded impressive growth of 39.2% annually.

The distribution of financing receivables contributed to the total asset achievement of IDR 24.3 trillion or an increase of 0.5% quarterly, supported by a new financing value of IDR 9 trillion.

According to him, there are many factors that color the first half of 2024. The momentum of the election, Ramadan and major red dates, to geopolitical factors also affect purchasing power and more or less affect our performance achievements during the first semester of 2024.

"In dealing with this, financing distribution is carried out more selectively and product diversification is carried out in order to maintain the quality of the credit portfolio," he said.
