Adira Finance Obtains US$ 300 Million Syndicated Loan

KONTAN.CO.ID - JAKARTA. PT Adira Dinamika Multi Finance Tbk (Adira Finance) has signed a syndicated loan facility agreement amounting to US$ 300 million in Singapore, Thursday (1/2).

Adira Finance President Director I Dewa Made Susila, said that Adira Finance will continue to diversify funding sources through syndicated loans in foreign currency. He explained that this syndicated loan was the 9th syndicated loan throughout Adira Finance's journey and the first after the Covid-19 pandemic.

"This facility amounts to US$ 300 million with a term of 3 years and a competitive interest rate," said Dewa in an official statement, Monday (5/2).

Dewa revealed that regarding the issuance of this syndicated loan, Adira Finance appointed CTBC Bank Co, Ltd, DBS Bank Ltd, Maybank Securities Pte, Ltd, MUFG Bank Ltd and United Overseas Bank Limited as mandated lead arrangers and bookrunners.

"We will fully hedge this facility to mitigate currency risk and interest rate risk," he explained.

Dewa added that as a strategy to fund business growth, Adira Finance will continue to diversify funding sources. Currently, Dewa said that Adira Finance's loans come from banks (both domestic and foreign banks) and the capital market (local bonds and mudharabah sukuk).

“Respectively 48% and 52%. "With a gearing ratio of 1.0 times, which is far below the regulatory requirement of 10 times," he said.
