KONTAN.CO.ID - JAKARTA. PT Mandala Multifinance Tbk (Mandala Finance) is targeting a portion of funding from banks of approximately IDR 2 trillion this year. This is to support the distribution of Mandala Finance financing this year.

Mandala Finance Business Director Christel Lasmana said, throughout 2022 Mandala Finance saw a positive trend regarding funding from banks to the multi-finance industry.

Multifinance funding sourced from banks is still a mainstay for multifinance. This can be seen from data from the Financial Services Authority which states that funding from banks to multifinance in 2022 will increase by 21% from 2021.

Christel said, Mandala Finance is supported by funding partners and investors who have given their trust to the company, including banking syndications, both domestic and foreign.

"In 2022, we signed an MoU with two banking syndicates which provided us with a total funding of approximately IDR 2 trillion," Christel told Kontan.co.id, recently.

Meanwhile, when compared to the previous year, there is a trend of increasing funding in 2022. The portion of funding from bank Mandala Finance in 2022 will reach 52%.

"We use the funding to support various business operational activities, as well as working capital needs in reaching and distributing quality loans to more Mandala Finance consumers spread throughout Indonesia," he concluded.
