Bisnis.com, JAKARTA - Financing company PT Mandiri Utama Finance (MUF) recorded new financing distribution of IDR 17.9 trillion throughout the 2022 period, growing by up to 54 percent (year-on-year/yoy) compared to the 2021 realization of IDR 11.6 trillion.
MUF Main Director Stanley Setia Atmadja explained that there were at least two factors driving his party's financing performance throughout the 2022 period to exceed the target at the beginning of the year, which at that time was set at around IDR 12.7 trillion.
"This achievement is inseparable from the contribution of our new network expansion last year, most of which were outside Java, both in Sumatra, Kalimantan and Sulawesi, as well as optimizing cooperation with all dealer partners, showrooms, digital partners and regular partners," he said. when confirmed, Wednesday (18/1/2023).
In addition, leasing a subsidiary of PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk. (BMRI) admits that he is also experiencing the blessing of the rising trend of demand for sharia-based financing throughout 2022.
This is because MUF is the exclusive leasing partner of PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk. (BRIS), and became the executor of BSI's motor vehicle loan product entitled BSI OTO via the www.bsioto.muf.co.id channel.
"The development of several of our new products is also a growth driver, one of which is our captive sharia financing product. So in 2023 we set an optimistic target gesture, but remain vigilant. Because there are still growth opportunities, even though there is a threat of the impact of the world recession which remains a serious concern us," he added.
In comparison, the accumulated distribution of MUF financing throughout 2020 only reached IDR 5.8 trillion due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. In the 2021 period, financing performance has begun to recover, and has even grown almost double to Rp. 11.6 trillion.
Meanwhile, this year, Stanley revealed that if the national economic conditions are stable, the target for MUF's financing is set to grow moderately, which is around IDR 18.5 trillion.
