Bisnis.com, JAKARTA - PT Verena Multi Finance Tbk. (VRNA) announced the change of the company's name to PT Mizuho Leasing Indonesia Tbk.

The management of the company conveys that this announcement relates to the receipt of the Decree of the Minister of Law and Human Rights concerning the Approval of Amendments to the Articles of Association of Limited Liability Companies related to the Change of Company Name.

"The Board of Directors of PT Mizuho Leasing Indonesia Tbk. hereby announces that as of September 24, 2022, PT Verena Multi Finance Tbk. has changed its name to PT Mizuho Leasing Indonesia Tbk.," the management wrote in its announcement, Monday (26/9/2022) .

In the disclosure of information, it was stated that the amendment to the Company's Articles of Association in connection with the name change was made to adjust the naming standards for the company's controlling shareholder, namely Mizuho Leasing Co.Ltd, a Japanese financial institution part of the Mizuho Leasing Group.

Meanwhile, as of December 31, 2021, Mizuho Leasing Co.Ltd. recorded holding 67.44 percent of the company's shares. The rest is owned by PT Bank Pan Indonesia Tbk. alias Bank Panin by 25.06 percent and the public 7.5 percent.

In addition to the name change, the company also announced a change in the address of the head office, namely to Menara Astra Floor 32, Jl Jenderal Sudirman Kaveling 5-6, Jakarta. Operational activities, including but not limited to correspondence, will be carried out through the company's new address.

The management of Mizuho Leasing Indonesia stated that there was no impact on the financial condition and business continuity of the company from this change.
