Bisnis.com, JAKARTA — The financial company PT BFI Finance Indonesia Tbk. (BFIN) will soon pay dividends in July 2022 of Rp10 per share or Rp159.67 billion.
Citing the information disclosure of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) on Friday (1/7/2022), the dividend payment decision was agreed upon in the agenda of the annual general meeting of shareholders (AGMS) which was held on 29 June 2022.
"The company will distribute a cash dividend of IDR 10 per share," wrote the BFIN directors as quoted on Friday (1/7/2022).
For information, if you look at the number of outstanding shares of BFIN as many as 15.96 billion shares, the dividend to be distributed is Rp. 159.67 billion.
Dividends will be paid to shareholders whose names are recorded in the Company's Register of Shareholders on July 11, 2022 at 16.00 WIB.
The dividends will be paid in two ways. First, for BFIN shareholders who own shares in script form, dividend payments will be made by direct book-entry to the shareholders' accounts.
A number of conditions must be met, namely that shareholders must first submit a dividend mandate, a copy of proof of identity, and a copy of NPWP for Indonesian citizens or a domicile certificate/DGT Form for foreigners.
Second, for company shareholders whose shares are kept in the collective custody of PT Kustodian Sentral Efek Indonesia (KSEI), KSEI will distribute dividends through Securities Companies and/or Custodian Banks.
Throughout 2021, multi-finance issuers which are included in the constituents of the Bisnis-27 index recorded a profit after tax of Rp. 1.13 trillion, an increase of 61.3 percent on an annual basis compared to the same period the previous year.
BFI Finance Director Sudjono explained, solid growth in 2021 proves the business is getting better in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Throughout last year, BFIN booked a new financing or booking value of IDR 13.7 trillion, an increase of 79.8 percent year-on-year (yoy).
"This quite large increase in bookings in the fourth quarter of 2021 is in line with the recovery of the pandemic condition and the increase in business activity in general," said Sudjono in an official statement some time ago.
