BFI Finance (BFIN) Tender Offer by Jerry Ng & Boy Thohir Completed

Bisnis.com, JAKARTA - Trinugraha Capital & Co SCA has completed the corporate action of a voluntary share offering (tender offer) for the financing issuer PT BFI Finance Indonesia Tbk (BFI Finance/BFIN).

Based on BFIN's written report to the Financial Services Authority (OJK) on the information disclosure page, the voluntary tender offer which ended on April 13, 2022 noted that 852,876,278 shares participated in this corporate action.

"Payments to shareholders participating in the voluntary tender offer will be made on April 25, 2022," wrote the Corporate Secretary and Finance Director of BFI Finance Sudjono in the report, quoted Tuesday (26/4/2022).

For information, Trinugraha Capital is the majority shareholder of BFIN which at the end of March 2022 held ownership of 42.81 percent or 6,835,249,660 shares.

Trinugraha Capital, which is listed as being affiliated with Jerry Ng and Garibaldi 'Boy' Thohir, previously targeted full ownership of BFIN shares through this corporate action. The offering price is IDR 1,200 per share.

Citing a voluntary tender prospectus published in Bisnis Indonesia daily, Trinugraha Capital intends to have BFIN by promising to smooth out three big plans for the company.

First, directing the BFIN business back to its pre-covid-19 pandemic level while still emphasizing prudence, especially asset quality in the midst of challenging conditions.

Second, leveraging BFIN's local expertise and knowledge to build sustainable growth in its core consumer finance business.

Third, invest in business transformation and apply digital technology to optimize operations to better serve clients and strengthen competitiveness for long-term growth.
